Theatre Borscht and The Giant’s Kitchen

After traveling down to Devon for Camp Bestival, Theatre BORSCHT have returned to London! Borscht worked in a cosy Mongolian yurt, called the Giant’s Kitchen, as part of the enchanting House of Fairytales‘ Travelling Art Circus.

This year Camp Bestival hosted around 15,000 under-16 year olds. Borscht held vegetable puppet workshops, a vegetable quiz, and a children’s puppet performance to entertain our young visitors. Here are some of the puppets they made.

The Borscht suitcase is now taking a break for the summer. Catch that sun comrades and we’ll see you later this autumn.

Puppet muses

Theatre Borscht packed their suitcase and went to the Festival of the Nine Muses last weekend. Held at the impossibly brilliant Milton Manor, Anna Karrotenina took pride of stage and delighted audiences. One member of the troupe even began Twitter-ing like an atmospheric bird. Soup was served at dusk.
